Our Disc Check Valves are recommended after traps discharging into closed systems to guarantee against return or spill back. DCVs feature a compact and rugged stainless steel design and are suitable for any process liquid & gas, not just steam. Main advantage of these check valves is they can be mounted between pipe flanges in any direction.
Disc check valve which is having the movable disc that block the flow or allow forward flow. The seat opening cross-section may be perpendicular to the centerline between the two ports or at an angle.
Although the disc check valves are available in various sizes in order to meet the requirements of different applications. The valve allows full, unobstructed flow and automatically closes as pressure decreases. These valves are fully closed when flow reaches zero, in order to prevent backflow.
